Upgrade your LVA front splitter from bumper-mounted to true chassis-mounted with our S550 Mustang Chassis Mount Kit. Designed and manufactured in-house at our Indiana facility, these heavy-duty steel brackets bolt directly to your vehicle's chassis, providing a rock-solid foundation that dramatically increases the strength and stability of your aero setup.
Each bracket is CNC laser cut and precision bent from premium-grade steel for maximum strength and longevity. The powder-coated finish ensures long-lasting protection against the elements, while our hardware kit provides everything you need for a clean, professional installation.
S550 Chassis Mount Kit (Version 3) Includes:

Bolts under the crash bar to the lower frame rails. LVA logo faces forward.

Sandwich between the crash bar and frame rails using the factory bolts. Mirrored left/right pair.

The "feet". They bolt to #2 and carry the sides of the splitter. Mirrored left/right pair.

Hook onto the small bracket under each headlight using the factory bolt. Identical, use either side.

Thin feet that bolt to #4 and support the splitter's outer corners. Identical, use either side.
Hardware:
15 × 1/4-20 button-head bolts, 30 × 1" fender washers, 15 × 1/4-20 nylon lock nuts
16 × M6 button-head bolts, 28 × 1" fender washers, 4 × 12 mm flat washers, 12 × M6 nylon lock nuts, 4 × M6 bronze rivnuts
All bolts, nuts and washers are marine-grade 316 stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance.
Not Included: LVA front splitter (sold separately), M6 rivnut install tool, and splitter support rods (sold separately, recommended).
Renders show the current Version 3 kit. Some product photos show an earlier version. Version 3 has been made stronger, lighter and easier to install, and mounts identically.
The headlights sit slightly lower on 2018-2023 cars, so the outer arms may need a minor adjustment. This has been done on tons of customer cars, and everything else fits as normal.
Most setups clear fine. The usual problem is intercooler piping that runs below the crash bar, which can interfere with a mount. Send us photos at help@liquivinyl.com before you buy and we'll check your setup.
We are actively working on chassis mount solutions for these platforms. If you're interested in being notified when options become available, please email help@liquivinyl.com.
Installation requires removal of the front bumper cover and the factory belly pan. The belly pan does not go back on: the kit mounts in its place, and you can still reach the oil drain plug. Minor drilling is required. We recommend having a friend assist with alignment during installation. Once the brackets are mounted to the chassis, your LVA front splitter attaches to the brackets using the included hardware.

Recommended Tool: An M6 Rivnut/Nutsert tool makes installation much easier. Unfortunately, we do not sell them at this time. Don't worry! There are popular options on Amazon ranging from $14-$40. Click here to view those options. No tool? The installation guide also covers a "two-nut" method that works without one. It just takes a bit more effort.
Estimated Install Time: 1-2 hours
Do I need to remove my bumper to install these?
Yes, the front bumper must be removed to install the chassis mount brackets.
Will this work with my existing LVA splitter?
Yes! This chassis mount kit is compatible with all LVA S550 front splitters. Please check the Fitment Guide section of this listing to confirm compatibility with your vehicle.
Should I still use support rods with chassis mounting?
Yes, we recommend using support rods even with chassis mounting. More mounting strength is always better, and support rods provide additional stability and peace of mind.
Is this compatible with lowered vehicles?
Yes, the chassis mount kit works with both stock and lowered vehicles. Just be mindful of your ground clearance when selecting splitter options.
Our team is here to help you with fitment, installation, or any other questions.
