We offer free standard ground shipping services to all 48 Continental U.S. states. Truck, freight, and oversized charges will apply unless otherwise noted.
Estimated delivery times for orders sent via Standard Shipping:
Most of our products are shipped via UPS, which does not deliver to P.O. boxes, so we strongly advise you to provide a physical delivery address to avoid delivery issues or additional charges.
All Standard Shipping orders will ship via USPS or UPS, whichever is most cost-effective. In general, orders weighing less than 1 lb. will go USPS First Class Mail and heavier boxes will ship UPS Ground.
Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, or Canada is available at an additional rate. Additional shipping options should be available during the checkout process. If you purchase an item in any of these states or countries without paying an additional shipping fee, you will be contacted by email for us to collect additional shipping and handling charges. If you do not wish to proceed with the additional charges, you will be charged a 20% cancellation fee.
LVA sends an email with the tracking number for every order that is placed with a valid email address. If you have not provided an email address, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for tracking information. Tracking information is also available by logging into your account.
Tracking numbers beginning with 1Z have been sent via UPS and can be tracked via www.ups.com. The package movement will be updated by UPS at the end of each business day; given there is information to update.
Tracking numbers beginning with a 9 have been sent via USPS and can be tracked via www.usps.com. The package movement will be updated by USPS at the end of each business day; given there is information to update.
Tracking numbers that are 9 digits long have been sent via UPS Freight. Freight shipments can be tracked from the UPS Freight website. Please note that freight shipments being delivered to Residential locations may be delayed if UPS Freight is unable to contact you by phone to set up a delivery date and time
For international orders shipping outside of the United States, PR, GU, VI, APO/FPO – All sales are final for international orders and no returns are allowed.
International Shipping Charges are NOT refundable under ANY circumstance. ALL International Shipping Charges are FINAL.
LVA adheres to all applicable regulations and laws governing cross-border transactions. We are not responsible for any additional taxes/fees charged at the time of delivery by the shipping carrier. These fees are comprised of import taxes which are determined, levied, and collected by the customs authorities of the receiver's country.
LVA does not receive any portion of the import taxes paid; rather, these fees go directly to the relevant governmental authorities to cover appropriate duties and tariffs. Due to the varied and complex nature of import regulations worldwide, there is no way for us to calculate these or include them in our international shipping quotes and/or costs at the time of purchase.
We try our best to prevent damage to all packages during transit by packing each order carefully. From time to time, damage will occur despite our greatest precautions.
If the product is damaged during shipment, LVA will replace the product at no charge. Lead time for replacements is 1-5 business days. We do not offer expedited shipping for replacements.
In the event of a product being damaged during shipping, we do not require that the damaged product be sent back to us. Due to this, LVA reserves the right to require the customer to destroy the damaged product after the UPS claim has been submitted. We do this to ensure the damaged item has $0 in resale value on the second-hand market, as we are sending a replacement for free. We will require photographic evidence (via email) of said destruction to the damaged product prior to releasing the replacement from our facility.
In the event that you do not want to destroy the damaged product to ensure zero resale value, we will ask that you ship the damaged item back to us, in the original packaging. However, you (the customer) will be responsible for the return shipping cost. In this case, please ship to ATTN: Receiving, LVA, 1700 S Nebo Road, Yorktown, IN 47396.
DO NOT, under any circumstances, refuse delivery of a damaged shipment. If you refuse a damaged delivery, we will have to charge you for the return shipping cost prior to your replacement being shipped. We do not require you to send the damaged items back as it alleviates additional shipping costs on our end throughout the replacement process.
Please keep ALL components from the original shipment. This includes Splitter Hardware, Support Rods, Side Fins, Side Fin Hardware, and LVA Decals. LVA will not replace those items, only the splitter itself will be sent.
We will request detailed photos of the damaged product and packaging to further assist with the completion of the claim. Necessary photos include (but not limited to) address label, damaged box and damaged product. We require images showing the entire damaged product from end to end as well as close ups of specific damage. Please work with our support staff in the event additional photos are requested.
If you receive an item that has been damaged in shipping, please email email@example.com within 72 hours of receipt and we will set up a UPS claim for the damaged product. Include your order number and damage photos in the email. Please note LVA support staff works normal business hours Monday through Friday excluding holidays. When contacting a LVA support staff team member on a weekend your email will be answered during business hours on Monday.
Occasionally, UPS will reach out to you for additional evidence, and/or an inspection of the damaged product. Please work with them, as this will expedite the claim process.
LVA does not offer refunds on damaged items, only replacements. If your order is damaged during shipping, we will replace the shipment per the guidelines above.
For items shipped through a freight carrier, do not sign for or otherwise accept any items with physical damage. These items should be refused and returned to us.
LVA is not responsible for packages lost by any shipping carrier in transit.
If you have not received your order after the tracking shows it was delivered, first check with all of your neighbors. 99% of the time, your delivery driver accidentally dropped it off next door. If you live in an apartment or condominium complex, check with your management or leasing office as soon as possible.
After that, contact your local UPS/USPS branch and open a lost package investigation. Demand to speak with the delivery driver who marked the shipment as delivered (more often than not, they'll come back out and show you where it went).
If you've attempted ALL of the steps above, and still need further resolution, contact firstname.lastname@example.org via email within 3 business days of the official lost package investigation being opened.
Packages will be returned back to us by the carrier if they cannot be delivered due to incomplete or incorrect addresses. All packages returned to us for this reason can take up to 3 weeks to be processed.
If a shipment is returned to us due to an incorrect/undeliverable address entered by a customer, the customer will be charged for any additional shipping costs.
For international orders shipping outside of the United States, PR, GU, VI, APO/FPO – The return shipping costs of any refused or undeliverable shipment(s) outside of the United States may be deducted from any refund at LVA’s sole discretion.
If you return a product without first contacting email@example.com for a Return Authorization, the return will take up to 3 weeks to be processed and you will be charged a 25% restocking fee and the cost of the returned shipment - providing the shipment was received in brand-new, undamaged, and re-sellable condition.
If the order needs to be re-shipped, you will be charged for the return shipping cost and secondary shipment shipping cost, via an email invoice prior to your replacement being shipped.
We are not responsible for any packages lost or damaged in shipment via a refused delivery and/or unauthorized return situation. Items received damaged as a result of a refused delivery will not be refunded in any way, shape, or form. Should the customer choose to have these items re-shipped, they will be responsible for the full costs of the replacement item, paid for via an emailed invoice prior to the re-shipment's release from our facility.
