Two timeframes, not one. All LVA products are made to order. Your delivery date is production lead time plus transit time. Most products currently have a production lead time of 5 to 10 business days, but this varies by product. Current lead times for every category are published on our Current Lead Times page, which is the authoritative source.
We offer free standard ground shipping to all 48 contiguous U.S. states. Truck, freight, and oversized handling charges apply to certain products unless otherwise noted, and are shown on the product page and in your cart before checkout.
Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Canada is available at an additional rate. Those options should appear during checkout. If you place an order for delivery to one of these destinations without paying the additional shipping fee, we will contact you by email to collect the additional shipping and handling charges. If you choose not to proceed, the order will be cancelled subject to a 25% cancellation fee.
Expedited shipping is available at the rates quoted at checkout. Expedited shipping affects transit time only. It does not shorten production lead time.
All LVA products are made to order. Every product we ship is CNC machined, sanded, polished, produced to the specifications you selected, and packaged in house at our Yorktown, Indiana facility before it ever enters a carrier network.
Because of this, every order involves two distinct timeframes:
Total estimated time to delivery = current published production lead time + transit time for your region.
Most products currently have a production lead time of 5 to 10 business days. Some categories are longer. Production lead times vary by product and are published on our Current Lead Times page, which is updated regularly and is the authoritative source for current lead times. The lead time published on that page as of the date you place your order is the lead time that applies to your order.
Some LVA products are sold on a pre-order basis. Pre-order items are clearly marked on their product listing with a "PRE-ORDER NOW AVAILABLE" banner and a disclosed shipping window. Pre-order items are produced in sequential batches in the order they are received. The estimated ship window for each active pre-order batch is published on our Current Lead Times page and updated as production progresses.
When you secure a pre-order with LVA, your payment goes directly to work, covering raw materials, tooling, R&D, and production for a brand new product. Because of this, pre-orders are final at the time of purchase and are not eligible for cancellations, returns, or refunds, regardless of the stage of production your order is in. This is stated in full on our Return Policy page.
By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge that the ship window published at the time of purchase is an estimate and is subject to adjustment based on production progress. Adjustments to published pre-order ship windows are communicated by email to the address on file for the order.
If we are unable to ship within the window published for that product as of the date you ordered, we will email you with a revised estimate and the choice to either accept the new date or cancel for a full refund. This applies only where we have missed our own published window.
Estimated transit times for orders sent by standard shipping, measured from the date the carrier picks up the package, after production is complete:
| Region | Estimated transit |
|---|---|
| West Coast | 3 to 5 business days |
| Southwest | 3 to 5 business days |
| Midwest | 1 to 2 business days |
| East Coast | 1 to 3 business days |
Weekends and holidays do not count as transit days, with the exception of Saturday for USPS packages, and Saturday delivery on expedited services where that service has been selected and paid for by the customer.
Transit times are carrier estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for carrier delays, weather, or service disruptions once a package has left our facility.
LVA ships via USPS, UPS, and FedEx. The carrier for a given order is determined by product size, package weight, destination, and service cost. In general, orders weighing less than 1 lb ship USPS First Class Mail, and heavier packages ship UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. Larger and heavier items ship by LTL freight.
Most of our products ship by UPS or FedEx, which do not deliver to P.O. boxes. We strongly advise providing a physical delivery address to avoid delivery issues and additional charges.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address, and for indicating whether the address is residential or commercial. Charges arising from an inaccurate or incomplete address are your responsibility. See Section 9.
LVA sends an email with the tracking number for every order placed with a valid email address. If you did not provide an email address, contact help@liquivinyl.com for tracking information. Tracking is also available by logging into your account.
Carrier tracking systems update at the end of each business day where new scan information is available. A tracking number that has not updated for a day or two is normal and does not indicate a problem.
We do our best to prevent damage in transit by packing every order carefully. We do not have direct control over in transit damage, but we will work with you and the carrier to resolve it.
What you do at delivery depends on the carrier.
Parcel shipments (USPS, UPS, FedEx): do NOT refuse delivery. Accept the package, then inspect, photograph, and report. Refusing a parcel delivery creates return shipping charges for which you are responsible and does not help the claim.
Freight shipments (LTL): inspect before you sign. If there is visible damage, note it on the delivery receipt before signing, photograph it, and refuse the shipment. A clean signature on a freight delivery receipt substantially reduces the carrier's liability and can make the claim unrecoverable. See Section 10.
Report shipping damage within five (5) days of delivery. Email help@liquivinyl.com with your order number in the subject line, a description of what is damaged, and five or more photos. Required photos include the address label, the damaged packaging, the full product end to end, and close ups of the specific damage. Damage reported after five days generally cannot be recovered from the carrier, and we will not be able to provide a replacement in that situation.
Do not attempt to install a damaged item. Doing so voids any claim or replacement.
Keep the original item, including packaging and packing material, unless an LVA associate tells you otherwise.
Our remedy for a damaged shipment is replacement, not refund. Where the carrier accepts the claim and reimburses us, we produce and ship a replacement at no charge to you. Lead time for replacements is 1 to 5 business days and we do not offer expedited shipping on replacements. Where the carrier denies the claim, we are not obligated to provide a replacement at no charge and we will not issue a refund. Full details, including photo requirements and disposition of the damaged item, are in our Return Policy.
Occasionally packages are misrouted or delayed in transit. Before contacting us, please allow the full transit window in Section 4 to elapse, measured from the date your package was picked up, not from the date you ordered.
Title and risk of loss pass to you when your order is handed to the carrier. LVA is not responsible for packages lost by a carrier in transit, but we will open and pursue a claim on your behalf.
If the trace closes without locating the package, we will file a claim with the carrier. As with damaged shipments, our only remedy is replacement, not refund. Where the carrier accepts the claim and reimburses us, we produce and ship a replacement at no charge. Where the carrier denies the claim, we are not obligated to provide a replacement at no charge and we will not issue a refund.
Packages are returned to us by the carrier if they cannot be delivered due to an incomplete or incorrect address, if they are not picked up from a carrier facility, or if the recipient refuses delivery. Packages returned to us for any of these reasons can take up to 3 weeks to process, and are subject to a 25% restocking fee at our discretion.
If a shipment is returned to us because of an incorrect or undeliverable address entered by the customer, the customer is charged for any additional shipping costs.
If an order needs to be reshipped, you will be charged the return shipping cost and the second shipment's shipping cost by emailed invoice before the reshipment leaves our facility.
For orders shipping outside the United States, the return shipping cost of any refused or undeliverable shipment may be deducted from any refund at LVA's discretion.
Address changes on an order already in transit are subject to a $25 per package reroute fee. Orders shipped by USPS cannot be rerouted in transit. Email help@liquivinyl.com immediately if you need a reroute.
Additional handling fees apply to some items due to size, weight, or special handling requirements. These fees are shown on the product page and in your cart.
Some items ship by LTL freight carrier. Freight delivery works differently from parcel delivery, and the steps below directly affect whether a damage claim can be recovered.
If you discover damage that was concealed at the time of delivery, contact help@liquivinyl.com within five (5) days of delivery with photos. Concealed damage claims are significantly harder to recover from a carrier than damage noted at delivery, and we cannot guarantee a replacement where a concealed damage claim is denied.
Any handling fee included with your order covers shipping the item to the address you specified at checkout. It does not include ancillary services added by the carrier as a result of your requests or circumstances. Any of the following may result in an additional cost to you:
For orders shipping outside of the United States, PR, GU, VI, and APO/FPO addresses, all sales are final and no returns are accepted.
International shipping charges are not refundable under any circumstance.
LVA adheres to all applicable regulations and laws governing cross border transactions. We are not responsible for additional taxes or fees charged at the time of delivery by the shipping carrier. These consist of import taxes, duties, and tariffs determined, levied, and collected by the customs authority of the receiving country.
LVA does not receive any portion of the import taxes paid. Those fees go directly to the relevant governmental authorities. Because import regulations vary widely by country, there is no way for us to calculate them or include them in international shipping quotes at the time of purchase.
Once an international order has been placed, no changes or modifications may be made, and the order may not be cancelled.
This Shipping Policy should be read together with our Return Policy and our Terms and Conditions, both of which are incorporated by reference.
Where a conflict exists between this Shipping Policy and the Return Policy on returns, cancellations, damaged shipments, or lost shipments, the Return Policy controls.
LVA reserves the right to change or amend this shipping policy and its procedures at any time without notification. The policy in effect on the date you place your order governs that order.
